The Zambia Institute of Public Relations and Communication (ZIPRC) Strategic Plan 2022-2024 will continue to guide the National Governing Council and its Secretariat in managing the affairs of its Public Relations and Communication professionals in a strategic manner. As a professional body responsible for the regulation of professional practice of Public Relations and Communication experts in Zambia, the Strategic Plan 2024 – 2026 will be a key tool in ensuring that key strategic activities are carried out for the benefit of the members and the Association.

In this Strategic Plan, ZIPRC’s vison, mission and  core values are clearly highlighted and will guide the NGC in attaining the overall goal of the organisation. In order to understand the prevailing business environment, a situational analysis was carried out using the SWOT Analysis tool.

Thereafter, strategic objectives and activities were developed to assist take advantage of opportunities existing in the business environment and as well as put measures to mitigate threats that may affect the public relations and communication profession in Zambia.

Meticulous efforts were made in developing an implementation plan which provides a roadmap of how activities would be carried out. To mention the achievement levels of the outlined strategic activities, the performance indicators were developed and assigned to each activities.

In short, the development of the Strategic Plan 2024-2026 of ZIPRC considered both internal and external factors that can either have a positive or negative impact on operations of the Institute. The development process took into consideration past achievements so far attained and the changing national and international trends in the Public Relations and Communication profession.
