The Zambia Institute of Public Relations and Communication (ZIPRC) wishes to remind all Public Relations and Communication practitioners, as well as employers of communication professionals of the mandatory requirement to adhere to the Zambia Institute of Public Relations and Communication Act No. 11. of 2022 and ZIPRC Code of Ethics.

Communication plays a central role in national development, institutional credibility, and business success.
Therefore, communication must be managed and executed by qualified professionals operating within a regulated framework, guided by the law and ethical best practices.

In line with our mandate, ZIPRC will intensify compliance monitoring and enforcement mechanisms to ensure that all practicing professionals are duly registered, licensed, and compliant with the Act.

Employers are equally urged to ensure that individuals serving in communication functions within their organisations are professionally qualified, registered with ZIPRC, and uphold the highest standards of ethical practice.

The Institute calls on all stakeholders to cooperate and comply accordingly, as part of our collective responsibility to safeguard the integrity of the profession and strengthen the impact of communication on Zambia’s development agenda.
